Rural Youth Poverty Eradication Initiatives (RYPEI) is a civil society organization, registered under the Non-Governmental Organizations Act, 2016, formed in 2006 with a mission to contribute towards poverty reduction among the youth and women in Uganda. The idea was to set up an organization that will understand the underlying issues and will collaboratively address them to maximize the impact at ground level.
Our Goal
To move highly vulnerable households into sustainable livelihoods and toward economic stability in order to reduce poverty and inequality by creating jobs to low-income households.

Inclusion – We think that giving everyone the chance to voice their various interests, worries, and points of view strengthens the fabric of our communities.
Empowerment – We support offering community people learning opportunities so they can learn new skills and get worthwhile experience. We encourage intellectual dialogue that improves people’s lives.
Mutual Support – We believe in establishing ties among the people of Africa in order to increase appreciation for the community and support among neighbours. In a tiny, isolated community, communication and local self-sufficiency are essential.
Exchange – We think that there is a lot that Africa can learn from other cultures. The exchange of ideas among those attempting to live in harmony with one another and the planet is something we appreciate.
Independence – Communities must assume responsibility for comprehending the problems that concern them, in our opinion.
